Beckett Walking Tour

This is a self-guided, audio tour which leads through Belfast’s vibrant university quarter, immersing the listener in the enigmatic imagination of the great Irish writer Samuel Beckett.

The atmospheric recorded commentary has been adapted from Me Here, Me, the first of two interlocking dramatic monologues which comprise the play Both Sides by Belfast writer Jane Coyle. The original is set in a Paris café and is spoken by a mysterious, young woman. Through her eyes, you will view the busy life of the street outside and the colourful gallery of passers-by.

This adaptation is by the writer; the narrator is the actress who played the young woman in the original play.

Writer: Jane Coyle

Director: Rhiann Jeffrey

Narrator: Hannah Coyle

Sound production: Spring Lane Productions

The tour lasts approx. 45 minutes and begins at The Crescent.   Click here to purchase the tour
