Join Poetry NI and The Crescent as we present Purely Poetry Open Mic Night.
It's time to blow the dust off your notebooks and rejoin us for the return of open mic poetry at the Crescent. Welcoming readers of all styles and experiences, from first timers to old pros, we foster an open, laid back and encouraging atmosphere for people to read their work, and to listen in comfort. Quite simply, we want your poems, and we want you to enjoy the experience of reading them to us!
To take part, just select Participant ticket below. All names are drawn out from our Magical Hat of Randomness, and each person has seven minutes max to read. Spaces are limited to 20 slots (we have to let the staff get home at some stage!) Or if you just want to come along and listen in to some lovely poetry, select an Audience ticket instead.
Purely Poetry open mic night is a BYO event!
