On Friday we’re offering a range of professional development opportunities, starting with bookable 1:1 sessions with industry folks: come and ask your questions!

  • Each session lasts for 10 minutes. Use the booking box below to book a slot.
  • There’s no set up time - be prepared to make the most of your 15 minutes and come prepared with your questions 
  • There’s no application process and it’s not possible to submit material in advance
  • The Festival doesn’t have devices available for presentations 
  • We recommend you arrive 15 minutes ahead of your booked slot!

Director at David Higham Associates, Molly represents many acclaimed children’s writers, including Louie Stowell, author of the bestselling series Loki: A Bad God’s Guide, Frances Hardinge, winner of the Costa Book of the Year, and award-winning Irish writer and illustrator Marie-Louise Fitzpatrick

  • Fiction for teenagers and young adults

Meet Molly

Molly Ker Hawn is a literary agent and director at David Higham Associates, and believes that reading is one of the best ways to learn to be empathetic, courageous, open-minded and funny – and loves finding books that she thinks children or teenagers will devour. 

Her clients’ books have been New York Times, Sunday Times and international bestsellers and have won and been shortlisted for the American Library Association’s Michael L. Printz Award and William C.
