Grab your scissors and a sheet of A4: Belfast Zine Fair is back for an afternoon of swapping, shopping and making. Explore the stalls, stock up on new zines and support your local makers, or make your own zine to trade or keep.

In the event of a spike in COVID numbers, Belfast Zine Fair will be run as a masked event. Keep an eye on the Festival website for updates and information.

If you are a zine maker interested in trading at the Belfast Zine Fair, click here to express interest. Deadline for applications is Thursday, 30th April at 5pm.

What are Zines? A zine is a small, self-published booklet. Zines are generally limited-run and are often handmade and hand-distributed by their creator. Common zine topics include activism, art, how-to and pop culture/fandoms, but they can cover any subject under the sun. They are an offline way for a creator to share their thoughts, creations and interests.

Booking is not necessary for this event. The Crescent is a charity. If you would like to make a contribution, via our pay What Your Decide scheme, it will go towards Belfast Book Festival (Artist Fees). Click here for details about our pricing scheme
