Meet the Tutor

Kieron Black has been an artist for as long as he can remember. ‘I was heavily asthmatic as a child and couldn’t play like the other kids... and I remember finding my own freedom then in drawing.’ Happily, Kieron has left the asthma behind but not the creativity; he has worked as a travel journalist snowboarding the alps for Whitelines Magazine, was the cartoonist for a New York syndicate, has been published in Private Eye magazine and is the author / illustrator of the popular children's book The Goblin’s Blue Blanket. He lives in County Down with his wife and daughter and a collection of small furry lunatics.
