If yes, sign up for a 1:1 portfolio review with Emma Layfield, who was previously Picture Book Development Director, North, Hachette, and now runs the independent network group Children's Books North.
The clinics will give you the opportunity to engage directly with an experienced publishing professional and receive feedback and direction on your work.
Sessions are approximately 15 minutes each. Booking is essential.
After 25 years working for Hachette Children’s Group as Group Picture Book Publisher and Picture Book Editorial Director, Emma Layfield recently made a permanent move to Children’s Book North to expand the growing network as a business. Emma is also a board trustee at Seven Stories in Newcastle, and mentors aspiring publishing professionals with Society of Young Publishers North.
