Bring along your little one for this special edition of Chamber Babies featuring pianist Nadene Fiorentini, who will be performing The Mother Goose Suite.
Chamber Babies is a venture initiated By Belfast Music Society and the concerts are very informal events with short programmes that are designed for babies and adults alike. You can walk, sway, crawl, roll, dance or just chill out to a careful selection of short classical pieces designed both to engage and enchant (or soothe to sleep!).
Nadene Fiorentini is a classical pianist and the National Concert Hall's 'Rising Star' of 2014. She made her solo recital debut on the main stage of the NCH in March 2014 and her concerto debut with the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra in July of the same year, broadcast live on Lyric FM.
Nadene's early piano studies began at the City Academy of Music in Derry~Londonderry where she was taught by Ray and Ruth McGinley. In 2006 she started an undergraduate degree in Music Performance at the Royal Irish Academy of Music under the tutelage of Dr John O'Conor and Professor Thérèse Fahy, receiving a First Class Honours degree in 2010.
Chamber Babies is a venture initiated by Belfast Music Society (BMS) in 2014, designed to offer the best live classical music to the youngest listeners (and their mums and dads). We are delighted to be working in partnership with the BMS on this venture, and concerts take place in the relaxed setting of The Crescent's Cube.
All Chamber Babies concerts are performed by professional classical musicians from Northern Ireland. We welcome all listeners, no matter how young (including mums with bumps!). Take time to enjoy coffee and cake at the Pantry Cafe in The Crescent before or after the concert.
These concerts are designed specifically for babies UP TO the age of 18 months. We reserve the right not to permit entry for older babies/children.
If you are bringing more than one baby, please make sure there is more than one adult in your party!
