Cocaine Cowboys: Nicola Tallant

We welcome to the stage award-winning investigative journalist Nicola Tallant.

In her book Cocaine Cowboys (Bonnier, November 2023), Nicola brings to life the story of Ireland’s engulfing drug relationship, following the deals, the successes and the catastrophic mishaps tracing the white lines from the jungle labs of South America to our own Wild West drug frontier. 

In conversation with Amanda Ferguson, this is sure to be an engrossing event. 

Nicola Tallant is an award winning journalist, author and podcaster. She specialises in organised crime and regularly appears on TV and radio. She is Executive Producer of a number of crime documentaries as well as the award winning Podcast; The Witness in His Own Words based on her best-selling book The Witness. She hosts her own weekly show; Nicola Tallant’s Crime World. She lives in Dublin. Her fifth book Cocaine Cowboys was released in October 2023.

Amanda Ferguson from north Belfast has been a freelance journalist since 2010. She works as a Northern Ireland Editor and Ireland Stringer for a wide range of clients - including Reuters news agency and The Washington Post - as well as an event host, and broadcaster with various radio, TV and digital media outlets.
