'The city is wild, the city is free,
the city has wonderful things to see.'
Join the pupils of Fane Street Primary School as they perform their imaginative and creative response to the city of Belfast and its landmarks, inspired by the mantra and magic in Ashwin Chacko's colourful and playful book Wild City.
The children have responded through a series of workshops to iconic city landmarks such as 'The Big Fish' and Samson & Goliath through drama and movement, playing with the text of the book and the landscape of their city, creating a performance fuelled by their imaginations and the playful illustrations and storytelling.
School workshops were facilitated by Andrea Grimason and Ashwin Chacko as part of The Crescent’s Partner Schools Programme.
