Fighting Words NI: Showcase

Join creative writing youth charity Fighting Words NI for this 1-hour showcase of some of the most original, creative, explosive and expansive writing to be found at this year’s festival.

With performances and readings exclusively by young authors, from all corners of the island, including sharings of work from Fighting Words NI’s cross-border project Creative Connections, this is a rare opportunity to encounter the power and talent of young voices.

Fighting Words NI is a Northern Ireland-based youth charity dedicated to empowering children and young people aged 6-18 through the transformative power of creative writing. We believe that every young person has a unique story to tell, and our mission is to provide them with the tools, support, and inspiration to express themselves confidently and creatively.
