Poetry Jukebox: Local Heroes

Poetry

Poetry JukeBox is an audio installation of contemporary poetry which is located permanently in the grounds of The Crescent and we are delighted to partner with the Poetry JukeBox to celebrate Mairtín Crawford & Heather Newcombe.

Both Mairtín and Heather were fine poets in their own right, but they were also outstanding in their generosity as champions of the work of other writers.  This curation of Poetry JukeBox by Moyra Donaldson and Kate Newmann, will feature a selection of the work of Heather and Mairtín, recorded by local poets. Uniquely you have the opportunity to preview the work with, Litcrawl - you can take a Poetry JukeBox walk with Mairtín & Heather's work. The poems will then be 'live' on Poetry Jukebox.
