Poetry NI presents the Belfast Book Festival Poetry Slam

Come along and join us for the annual Belfast Book Festival Poetry Slam presented by Poetry NI. 

Open to all poets, we invite you to take the virtual mic and share your work through three rounds until our Festival ‘Slampion’ is declared.

To enter, just purchase an Entrant ticket, or to just observe, purchase a Spectator ticket. Entrant slots will be limited to twenty due to time constraints, so it’s first come, first served!

Each year, the winner receives the Brian Bailey Memorial Cup, in tribute to the much-missed poet and pioneer of the Belfast live poetry scene. Poetry NI will also consider digitally publishing a pamphlet-length manuscript by the winner.

Expect an evening of digital dramatics, online odes and Internet imagery.
