Join Quotidian artists Maria McManus, Viviana Fiorentino, Nandi Jola and Bernarde Lynn for celebratory readings from the SAME/Difference creative writing and photography project.
Devised in conjunction with community groups across Northern Ireland, this will be a multi-lingual event, celebrating languages and expression. Project participants will read their poetry about identity, belonging, home, diversity and peace-building.
Their work explores the lived-experience of migration and home-making and includes people from minority ethnic groups whose first language is other than English.
Quotidian's experienced team of artists supported the groups to make creative inquiry of both the challenges and enriching perspective of life in a ‘new ground’ and the lived-experience of ‘home’.
The project also includes an exhibition of photographs, which shall be on display in The Crescent’s cafe for the duration of the Festival - click here for information on the exhibition.
