Join Stephen Connolly and poet’s James Harpur, Mark Roper and John F Deane for an evening of readings from three superlative poets.
James Harpur is poetry editor of Temenos and a former winner of the UK National Poetry Competition. His latest book is The White Silhouette.
Derbyshire born Mark Roper’s collections include The Hen Ark, which won the 1992 Aldeburgh Prize for best first collection and The Home Fire (Abbey Press, 1998). A Gather of Shadow won the Michael Hartnett Award in 2014. His latest collection, Bindweed, was published by Dedalus in autumn 2017.
John F. Deane founded Poetry Ireland, the National Poetry Society and The Dedalus Press, of which he was editor from 1985 until 2006. His poetry has been translated and published in France, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Romania, Italy, Slovakia, Sweden and has been shortlisted for the Irish Times Poetry Now Award and the T.S. Eliot Prize.
