Family
We start the weekend of Belfast Book Festival with activities for young people! Come along and join us for fun and frolics; there’s also books to read in the Cafe and excellent coffee. Click here to explore family activity at festival.
Join us for a delightful mashup - an interactive family storytelling and circus workshop where parents and their little ones are invited to listen to stories of When Circus Came to Belfast, and try some new circus skills.
A ticket is for 1 child and 1 adult.
This event is delivered by Circusful, Belfast, and part of Cruinniú na nÓg – a day of creativity for young people - made possible by Circus Explored.
This event is made possible by funding and is intended to be free of charge. If you would like to make a contribution it will go towards Belfast Book Festival (Artist Fees).
Circusful is a circus school based in Cathedral Quarter and founded in 1985. Each week across Northern Ireland we deliver circus skills classes to children, young people and adults, of all abilities, in our purpose-built venue and deliver outreach workshops to community groups.
Their ethos is to meet people where they are and to support them to try, fail, and grow. They see ordinary people surprise themselves by doing extraordinary things. Circusful’s classes are accessible, socially inclusive, affordable and, importantly, offer people a place where they can be themselves, build trust with others and develop positive relationships.
