workshop
Learn how to write a cover letter that makes you – and your novel – shine when querying literary agents in this practical workshop aimed at unagented writers interested in seeking representation for their work.
Over the course of two hours, we’ll look at how to condense your plot into a one-paragraph synopsis that fires the reader’s imagination, what to put in your biographical statement (even if you’ve never been published before), and what to expect during the submission process. Taking the first steps in sending your work out into the world can be a daunting and confusing prospect, but it doesn’t need to be. If you’ve ever stared at an agency’s submission guidelines and wondered where to start, this workshop is for you.
