During the Belfast Book Festival 2023, we invited artist Ronan Lee-Smyth to create a giant hot pink swift!

As home to one of the largest swift colonies on the island of Ireland, this collaborative project invited festival-goers a creative opportunity to celebrate our building’s natural heritage by moulding their own plaster feather to help .

The finished piece now hangs on the third floor of The Crescent; the same level you will find the Swifts residing in the summer months.
